Citizen Services

  

Working of Computer Department is that of Software Development and Maintenance, Hardware Purchase and Maintenance. The department also provides operational support to various departments for operating legacy software, these includes Bill printing for Property Tax, Water Charges, Tender Floating and Birth and Death Report Printing.

JMC has developed many applications in-house for various departments. These applications are being used for ease of work with computer record maintenance. However, these software’s are running on federal platforms and not integrated, hence do not prevent user from duplicity of work. Thus, JMC has initiated to implement an integrated application focusing Citizen’s need of obtaining any time any where Municipal services and JMC’s need of implementation of efficient and effective Municipal e-governance system.

E-Governance : - To improve the quality and speed of service to the citizens and to provide easy and quick access to information and services from anywhere with transparency JMC has initiated e-Governance Implementation. The e-Governance System will result in ease of administration and establish a sustainable operating model for the system, generating meaningful MIS for effective administration and decision making.

Implementation of Citizen facing services like

  • Property Tax and Water Charge Collection.
  • Birth and Death Registration and Certificate Generation.
  • Miscellaneous Income Receipting System for collection of various receipts for different module.
  • E-Governance Server and Network Installation.
  • Old Data Migration to new Sever.
